Description of change request/notification:
As I mentioned in today's SIG meeting, we're in the process of 'cleaning up' geometries in our road centerline (adactl) and edge of pavement (adaroads) datasets. The centerlines have been covered in a previous post (http://adasig.org/forums/24598/ShowThread.aspx#24598).
We've received some requests for the 'cleaned up' edge of pavement dataset as it gets processed. Rather than deliver adaroads from both provenances, we want to start delivering the 'adaroads' shapefile as exported from our geodatabase and abandon exporting the shapefile from the coverages. We anticipate that this can be an accelerated process since there's little reliance on this dataset for anything other than simple cartography.
Field names will remain the same with obvious exceptions being that the coverage-specific fields (i.e. ADAROADS_, ADAROADS_ID) will be dropped and a couple GDB-specific fields (i.e. Shape.len) will be added. The LAYER and DXF_LAYER fields will remain intact.

Potential impact to end users: None that we can think of

Dan, the only column Boise City keeps with the features is DXF_LAYER. As long as the new shapefile has that column, we should not be affected. Thanks, Jimae
